CHALLENGE
The operating problem
14 Wall Street is one of the most recognised business addresses in the world. Our client occupies Grade A space on the twenty sixth floor and holds to global corporate brand standards across every office it runs.
The floor needed a digital signage system capable of carrying corporate communication, market data and live feeds. It also had to disappear into a premium interior. Anything that read as retail signage, or that exposed cable runs and mounting hardware, would have undermined the space.
The requirement was a signage platform that performs to a global standard in a business-critical environment and looks like part of the architecture rather than an addition to it.
APPROACH
How Altus delivered
We designed and installed a refined signage system built around the finishes rather than fitted over them.
- Displays positioned across reception and key shared areas, flush mounted to complement the interior finish
- Centralised, multi-zone content control, so any screen or group of screens can be updated in real time
- Content spanning market data, corporate messaging, live feeds and internal announcements
- A network backbone sized for high-resolution delivery without latency
- An installation specified for continuous uptime in a business-critical environment
The result is a set of live communication assets rather than static displays.
OUTCOME
What changed
The floor runs a signage platform that meets the client’s global brand standard and holds up in a Grade A Wall Street environment.
- Consistent brand presence across the floor
- Real-time content delivery to every zone
- A discreet installation that preserved the premium interior
- Infrastructure sized for continued expansion
The project also showed that the delivery model travels. The same principles used across our UK multi-site programmes, clean design, robust infrastructure, coordinated user experience and centralised control, transferred to New York without modification.
